This policy explains how Clarence Valley Auto Electrical ("we", "us") handles your personal information when you use this website.

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email, suburb, vehicle details (make, model, year, registration) the description of the work you need, any photos you choose to upload, and whether you'd like a loan car. If you pay online, your card is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Why we collect it

We use it to prepare and send your quote, book your vehicle in, issue your invoice and receipt, contact you about your job (including text-message booking confirmations and reminders), keep a service history for your vehicle, and keep business and tax records as required by law. After a job, we may send you one email asking for a review. You can ignore it.

Who we share it with

We only share it with the service providers needed to run this booking system: Cloudflare (website hosting, database and photo storage), Resend (sending emails), ClickSend (sending text messages), Stripe (card payments) and our accounting software (Xero or MYOB). We'll also share it with our accountant or government agencies where the law requires. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

How long we keep it

Invoices and payment records are kept for at least five years for tax purposes. You can ask us to delete other details at any time.

Access and corrections

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you by calling us or replying to any of our emails.
